Revolution 100 Single Glazing / Double Glazing
Revolution 100 is a stunning dry jointed system, available in single or double glazed form. In its single glazed form, the glazing is offset, with discreet glass to glass joints between the glazed panels.
The double glazed version achieves outstanding acoustic ratings, comparable to blockwork partitions, and has its own range of specially designed high acoustic doors. This 100 mm wide system easily converts from double to single glazing or vice versa, allowing you to maintain the same visual appearance across a work space, whilst addressing varying acoustic requirements.
Head Condition
This versatile system can incorporate a number of extruded aluminium deflection heads. Both inner and outer deflection heads are available, to suit your design intent, and can accommodate up to +/-25 mm or +/-40 mm deflection. In cases where no deflection is required, a simple 25 mm or 50 mm extruded aluminium head channel is all that is required.
Base Condition
The aluminium base channel can either be 25 mm or 50 mm deep, depending upon your desired aesthetic.
Panel Dimensions
Revolution 100 can accommodate glass panels up to 1500 mm wide, subject to height, configuration, and site logistics.
Interpanel Joints
The use of dry-glaze gaskets in the Revolution 100 system makes it quick and easy to install, without compromising on durability, aesthetics or acoustic performance. A number of discreet glass to glass dry joints are available, including clear PETG, flush aluminium and taped. Alternatively, mullions can be introduced for a fully framed appearance.
Acoustics
Revolution 100 can accommodate a variety of glass thicknesses to suit the acoustic rating that you need to achieve. As with all of our products, the system is laboratory tested for acoustic performance in a UKAS accredited laboratory and full test reports are available upon request.Revolution 100 single glazing can achieve Rw 34 dB with 12 mm toughened glass, Rw 38 dB with 12.8 mm thick acoustic laminated glass and Rw 40 dB with 16.8 mm acoustic laminated glass.Revolution 100 double glazing can achieve Rw 45 dB using two sheets of 12 mm toughened glass and an impressive Rw 52 dB with one sheet of 12.8 mm/ one sheet of 16.8 mm acoustic laminated glass. The acoustic test is conducted on a full height, multi-module screen with glazing joints and perimeter track-work; not simply a ‘window’ in a smaller sized opening. Testing samples using the latter method will generally give an artificially higher acoustic rating result and any results obtained in this way should be treated with great caution.
Doors
Revolution 100 accommodates glazed and solid door sets from our standard range, along with its own Elite series of acoustic glass doors. As standard, Elite doors deliver acoustic performance comparable to bespoke acoustic timber door sets, while keeping the light and openness of glass. Elite Symmetry has a slim, minimal stile for meeting rooms where clean sightlines matter, tested to Rw 43 dB. Elite Affinity offers integrated locking for boardrooms, executive offices and other spaces that need controlled access and maximum privacy, tested to Rw 45 dB. Elite Aero is a pocket sliding door that slides into the partition, freeing up the swing area in focus rooms and compact meeting rooms, with performance up to Rw 39 dB.

Frequently asked questions
What is the highest acoustic rating Revolution 100 can achieve?
Double glazed configurations reach up to Rw 52 dB, suited to meeting rooms and executive offices with the most demanding acoustic requirements.
Should I choose single or double glazing?
Single glazing (Rw 34 to 40 dB) provides everyday privacy for private offices and huddle rooms. For meeting rooms, finance and HR spaces, we recommend double glazing (Rw 45 to 52 dB).
Can door performance keep up with the partition?
Yes. Revolution 100 pairs with Elite acoustic glazed doors: Elite Affinity reaches Rw 45 dB and Elite Symmetry Rw 43 dB. Door frames share the system’s 100 mm width for a flush finish on both sides.
Floor slabs deflect slightly under load. Can the partition accommodate this?
Yes. Deflection heads absorb up to ±25 mm or ±40 mm of vertical movement, with internal and external options.
Can the partitions be reused after a refit or move?
Yes. Revolution 100 is a dry jointed system that can be demounted and reinstalled elsewhere, with framing made from low-carbon recycled aluminium.
Can I request full technical specifications?
Yes. We can provide the complete manufacturer specification, covering glazing configurations, acoustic data and finishing details.
