Optima 36 is a glass partition system available in single or double glazed configurations, used to form offices and meeting rooms within open plan interiors. Narrow aluminium tracks and glass to glass dry joints keep visible framing to a minimum and maintain clear sightlines through the space.
The single glazed version uses a 36 mm track and the double glazed version a 54 mm track, with acoustic performance up to Rw 43 dB.
Head Condition
A simple 25 mm extruded aluminium head channel is all that is required.
Base Condition
To maintain a consistent appearance, as with the head condition, the base and abutments comprise a simple 25 mm deep extruded aluminium channel.
Panel Dimensions
Optima 36 can accommodate glass panels up to 1500 mm wide, subject to height, configuration, and site logistics.
Interpanel Joints
The use of dry-glazing in the Optima 36 system makes it quick and easy to install, without compromising on durability, aesthetics or acoustic performance. Discreet dry joints ensure a seamless appearance.
Acoustics
Optima 36 can accommodate a variety of glass thicknesses to suit the acoustic rating that you need to achieve. As with all of our products, the system is laboratory tested for acoustic performance in a UKAS accredited laboratory and full test reports are available upon request. Optima 36 can achieve Rw 33 dB with 12 mm toughened glass and Rw 38 dB with 12.8 mm thick acoustic laminated glass.Optima 36 can achieve Rw 37 dB with 2 layers of 10 mm toughened glass and Rw 43 dB with 2 layers of 13.14 mm thick acoustic laminated glass. The acoustic test is conducted on a full height, multi-module screen with glazing joints and perimeter track-work; not simply a ‘window’ in a smaller sized opening. Testing samples using the latter method will generally give an artificially higher acoustic rating result and any results obtained in this way should be treated with great caution.
Doors
The Optima 36 system has a stylish integral door frame and a unique flush single glazed door to complement the partition aesthetic. The Optima 36 door is also available with a concealed door closer, which can be customised to your needs, whether for acoustic performance or visual privacy.
