A defining detail of this project was the homeowner’s request to use a self-sourced, leather-textured door handle to perfectly align with their interior design narrative.

While this was outside the standard Optima hardware portfolio, the ASG engineering team took on the challenge. We meticulously cross-referenced the lock housing blueprints, calculated the precise center points, and assessed the door panel connection constraints. Under the strict prerequisites of system integrity and installation safety, we successfully executed the integration of the bespoke handle.

If the plenums above the ceiling, the voids beneath raised floors, or the wall intersections are not properly sealed and reinforced in advance, flanking noise transmission will inevitably occur, regardless of how high the partition’s acoustic rating may be.

For this reason, ASG advocates incorporating acoustic strategies at the very inception of the design phase. By simultaneously planning the foundational architecture (ceilings, floors, walls) alongside the glass systems and hardware configurations, we guarantee the uncompromising acoustic quality of the final space.
