Since launching its Taiwan operations in 2006, Google has continued to expand its footprint and strengthen its digital infrastructure while embedding the principles of human-centred, sustainable and inclusive design across all workspaces.

In the Hsinchu Campus Phases 1 to 5 expansion, Applied Spaces worked in alignment with Google’s global design standards and implemented Optima’s high-performance modular partition systems, creating a workplace that integrates refined aesthetics with technical precision.

Meeting rooms and office areas use the Optima Revolution 100 acoustic partition system. Its modular, dry-joint construction enhances sound insulation and supports flexible reconfiguration for future growth, improving both construction efficiency and long-term maintainability.

The Asia Affinity system with customised door panels incorporates access control, automated door functions and laser sensors. Every element was carefully coordinated with structural and electrical plans to ensure consistent performance, reliable acoustic quality and visual unity across the workspace.

The project includes accessibility-focused features such as barrier-free doors, motion sensors and Braille signage that exceed regulatory requirements. Modular installation, low-dust construction, reusable components and recycled aluminium materials support sustainable building practices and corporate carbon-reduction goals.
